The Calhoun County Amateur Radio Association had a CCC special event station to commemorate the people and the hard work they did. It was held at the stone tower, with museum, the second Tuesday in August.

Our set up in the shade. We had tried 40m band earlier, but too much static. We switched to 20m band and got better reception. Still had a bit of fading.
