I went to the local Wal-Mart and couldn’t find a tent for 1-2 people.
The smallest was for 4 people.
Probably just families buy there, and not backpackers.
Gander Mountain has 1 and 2 person tents. Hurrah !
update: the velcro tab on the rain fly corners must be placed below the tent pole clips, otherwise rain will come in and get you and your gear wet.
Alabama Outdoors carries 1-2 person tents as well. These are more expensive.
