I bought two Mountain House food items today. I’ll try them out and see if I want to eat them while backpacking. $7.99 each ! Augh !

update: 2021 thru 2023: I have been buying civilian MREs. Check out ‘Nathan MRE’ on YouTube for good advice on MREs. ‘Steve1989mre’ is also good, but his reviews range over the past 100 years.
